Emily Long, Senior Online Project Manager
1. What attracted you to your current position?
The idea of not having to work for a bank or a large American software company is really appealing and since moving up north last year I have been looking for a work environment that was more friendly and more like home!
2. What is the most enjoyable part of your job?
Just being myself – I love being able to wear jeans and trainers to work if I feel like it!
3. And the least enjoyable?
Not having a desk for the first month.
4. What’s the most irritating industry buzzword?
There is nothing irritating about this industry
5. If you could give your 18-year old self one piece of advice what would it be?
Be brave and push yourself to do the things you’re scared of because even if you tried and failed at least you can say you tried.
6. Describe yourself in three words.
Honest, jolly and passionate
7. What was your worst ever job?
Can't say really - top secret!
8. Dead or alive, who would you most like to meet?
George W Bush
9. What one question would you ask this person?
If you were brought up in New England and went to an Ivy League university, why – after 5 years – have you got such strange Texan accent, Are you really that shallow? Silly question really (Ed. Note: She is Canadian after all!!)
10. If you weren’t doing this job, what would you be?
Playing golf, travelling and chilling with Mike (my gentle giant) and Billy the cat.
