Business Development Manager - Leeds
As the Business Development Manager your role is to oversee,
co-ordinate and implement all aspects of business development and new
business within the UK. Despite the role having ultimate responsibility for business development, you will have the
full support of a entire team and complete access to all the Directors.
Key objective:
As Business Development Manager, your role is to build, maintain and deliver an ongoing pipeline of good opportunities that will enable fuse8 to continue its rapid growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Managing Director to prepare the agency business development strategy
- Identify prospects/opportunities through reactive and proactive prospecting
- Generate leads through all channels of communication including phone/letters/email marketing and networking
- On-going relationship building with prospects
- Prepare for and attend new business meetings
- Database management using the agency bespoke contact management systems
- Develop new initiatives for engaging prospects
- Actively broaden company exposure and increase positive perceptions through networking events and conferences
- Develop and update marketing collateral with design and online teams
- Regular reporting to management on all business development activity
- Work closely with all teams as required for writing presentations,
attending pitches, and collating follow-up materials for potential
clients. Ultimately you will work towards leading the fuse8 pitch team.
Successful candidate profile:
- As Business Development Manager you will require a good understanding of digital/full-service agency world and the ability to present all disciplines well as required for a full-service agency such as fuse8
- Minimum 3 years proven experience of new business development in digital/creative/marketing

Salary/package:
OTE in excess of £50K
