Web Designer - Leeds

fuse8 is looking to recruit a talented web designer to work within our online team. The successful applicant will be experienced in producing high impact interface design in a commercial environment, with a strong passion for creating outstanding visual experiences.

We're looking for someone with personality, dedication, who is calm under pressure with good communication skills. They must have a desire to exceed expectations at all times, with experience working to briefs within tight deadlines and implementing unique, engaging, and intuitive designs. The successful applicant must have a thorough understanding of best practices, covering everything from design optimisation to usability and functionality.

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating strong visual layouts for content managed websites
• Working closely with our Information Architects to create usable interactive solutions
• Designing for email campaigns and online advertising

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a web design role, preferably in a digital agency environment
• Expert Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver skills
• Good knowledge of web standards and working with CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of flash would be a benefit
• Enthusiasm for online trends and technologies
• Excellent examples of work available on an online portfolio
